On June 1, 2018, a firefighter from Boynton Beach who was not on duty discovered the infant’s body floating on the inlet’s Atlantic Ocean side. The mother of the newborn baby has been detained in connection with the child’s death, authorities said on Thursday, more than four years after the baby’s body was discovered floating in the Boynton Beach Inlet. Since July 2021, Singh had been employed as a security guard at Lynn University in Boca Raton; however, a spokeswoman for the institution confirmed that Singh’s employment has been terminated.
