Patrick Carlin VC, of Belfast, County Antrim, was an Irish recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for heroism in the face of the enemy that British and Commonwealth forces may receive.
On May 11, 1895, he died at the Belfast Union Infirmary and was buried at the Friar’s Bush burial on Stranmillis Road in Belfast; he is not commemorated.
